I received my rhubarb seeds from Amazon, so this weekend I will be starting on #25.
Rhubarb does not do well - I should say DIES - in our climate, but I have been reading a website about growing rhubarb in Texas. Apparently there they grow rhubarb as an annual, planting from seeds at the end of the summer and harvesting in the late spring.
I am obviously getting a late start, this being late, LATE summer, but I'm forging ahead anyway. I'm hoping to get at least a few meager stalks before they're all kilt by our blazing summer heat.
Need to find a spot indoors for them to sprout and then I'll be transplanting them into the south forty.
